Objectives

Catering to the development and research needs of the economic field, this program aims to cultivate high-level applied economic talents with all-round development in moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor education. The talents will solidly master the theoretical foundation of economics, proficiently apply modern economic analysis methods, and possess a sense of innovation, practical ability and interdisciplinary development capability. They will be competent for economic teaching and research, economic analysis and management work in institutions of higher education, research institutes, government departments as well as enterprises and public institutions.

Application Requirements

Be a foreign national, For Master's program applicants, the age is generally required to be under 35 and hold a degree equivalent to a bachelor's degree from a Chinese university; for Doctoral program applicants, the age is generally required to be under 40 and hold a degree equivalent to a Master's degree from a Chinese university. Applicants shall have good conduct, good health and abide by the laws and regulations of China as well as the rules of the university.

Application Documents

Signed copy of passport (applicants in China need to additionally provide a copy of entry visa/residence permit)
Notarized highest academic certificate and academic transcripts (translations in Chinese or English are required for documents in other languages)
Valid Physical Examination Form for Foreigners within 6 months (fully filled out, with photo affixed and official seal stamped)
Copy of HSK certificate or English proficiency certificate (if applicable)
Two letters of recommendation written by professors or associate professors in Chinese or English
Other documents: Applicants currently studying in China need to provide a relevant certificate from their host university; 5 white-background passport-sized color photos (can be submitted upon registration).

Admission Process

Comprehensive Evaluation

The schools offering relevant programs will conduct interview assessments for applicants in mid-May

Admission Confirmation

Receive a pre-admission email for confirmation at the end of June, and subsequently receive the paper admission notice and JW202 Form.
