Objectives

Catering to the fields of biology and bio-medicine, this program aims to cultivate high-level innovative talents who understand Chinese society and culture, have a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in life sciences as well as innovative thinking and an international vision. These talents are competent for scientific research, product R&D, production quality control and management, and can facilitate academic exchanges and cooperation in the biological field between China and other countries.

Application Requirements

Be a foreign national, aged 18-30; hold a high school graduation certificate; have good conduct, good health, and abide by the laws and regulations of China as well as the rules of the university.

Scholarships

Freshman scholarships are available for application in the first year; starting from the second year, international students can apply for the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship and the Zhejiang Sci-Tech University Scholarship

On-campus double room accommodation fee

Signed copy of passport (applicants in China need to additionally provide a copy of entry visa/residence permit)

Notarized highest academic certificate and academic transcripts (translations in Chinese or English are required for documents in other languages)

Valid Physical Examination Form for Foreigners within 6 months (fully filled out, with photo affixed and official seal stamped)

Copy of HSK certificate or English proficiency certificate (if applicable)

CSCA examination transcript.; Subjects: Mathematics, Chinese-taught programs required STEM Chinese

Other documents: Applicants currently studying in China need to provide a relevant certificate from their host university; 5 white-background passport-sized color photos (can be submitted upon registration).

Admission Process

Take the CSCA test

Test time: January, March, April, June and December each year. Registration website: www.csca.cn

Register an account on the ZSTU International Student Service Platform, fill in the application form and upload all application documents

Admission Confirmation

Receive a pre-admission email for confirmation at the end of June, and subsequently receive the paper admission notice and JW202 Form.
