1. Duration: one semester or longer
2. Curriculum Provision:
The compulsory courses have six levels, covering beginners and advanced learners. The curricula include Comprehensive Chinese, Chinese Listening and Speaking, Chinese Reading, Business Chinese and Practice. In addition, there are also more than ten optional courses such as Analysis and Appreciation of World Excellent Films, Understanding the Social Phenomenon of Modern China(Bilingual)and so on.
3. Eligibility:
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health with no infectious disease or any physical or mental diseases that may affect the normal study, have graduated from high school, and should be under the age of 55 (applicants under the age of 18 should submit the legal documents of their legal guardians in China. The documents should be notarized by the Chinese Embassy in the applicant’s country). Applicants must abide by Chinese laws and university regulations.

5. Application Documents
(1) ZSTU International Students Application Form (Applicants have to log on the Online Application System
http://zstu.at0086.cn/student to fill the information online and print the form)
(2) A photocopy of your passport information page with personal signature
(3) A photocopy of your valid Visa or Residence Permit if you are already in China
(4) Notarized photocopy of highest diploma and Transcripts. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translations in Chinese or English.
(5) Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid.
(6) Copy of Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) or English Proficiency Certificates (if applicable)
(7) Study certificate with class attendance record and transcripts given by your host university if you are studying at another university in China
(8) Applicants under the age of 18 should submit the legal documents of their legal guardians inChina. The documents should be notarized by the Chinese Embassy in the applicant’s country.
(9) Five Recent Photos (white background, 35mm×45mm in size, the photos can be submitted while registration)

6. Tuition and Fees (in RMB yuan)
(1) Application & Registration: 300 RMB
(2) Tuition: 7000/Semester; 14000/academic year
(3) On-campus Accommodation: (Accommodation is required to be paid per semester or per year. Each room is equipped with bathroom, furniture, A/C, fridge, Internet, etc, and equipped with a public kitchen and a public laundry)
a) 450/month.person Twin-bedded room;
(4) Fees for insurance:
a) Long-term Students: RMB 800/person·year, RMB 400/person one semester.
b) Short-term Students: Charged according to the actual cost.
(Insurance coverage: Death Insurance, Accidental Disability Insurance, Medical Insurance for Accidental Injuries, Hospitalization Insurance for Accidental Injuries. The Insurance coverage is subject to final explanation of the Insurance Company)
(5) Other fees (e.g. Fees for study materials, residence permit application): Charged according to the actual cost.
