Dear ZSTU Students，

To ensure your safety in the summer vacation, the International Students Office would like to call your attention to the following things:

1.     Please make sure that all the doors and windows of your dorm safely shut and there is nothing left on your balcony before you leave Hangzhou.

2.     Please take care of your valuables and do NOT leave a great deal of cash in your dorm.

3.     Please make sure that your electric appliances (wiring boards in particular) comply with the safety standards.

Please avoid using high-power electrical appliances which are not allowed in the dorm, including electric blankets, immersion water boilers and thermal oil heaters.

Please do NOT put inflammable and electricity-conductive items near the power sockets and wiring boards.

Please do NOT put your wiring boards on your bed in case fire be caused by the sparks produced plug or unplug your electrical appliances.

4.     Please avoid open flame and smoking in your dorm.

5.     Please pay close attention to the traffic safety when you go out. Avoid taking unlicensed cars and coaches.

6.     Beware of any messages and calls of fraud.

7.     Suggest every international and out-border student not go to the countries or the districts with the outbreak of MERS (such as South Korean, the Middle East, etc.). If you really need to go to those countries or the districts, please inform the International Students office or Office for Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs immediately.
